Beauty resolutions we hope to keep in 2022

With 2022 just around the corner, we are excited to bring you yet another year of good skin and cheer.

We wanted to do something fun to round up the year, and what better way than to look at some beauty resolutions the Renaza team is making for 2022? βœ¨πŸ˜‰

Do you have any resolutions that you are hoping to stick to this year? Let’s work towards our skin goals together! πŸ’ͺ🏻✨

Q: New skincare habits you are aiming to adopt in 2022!

𝐂𝐇: Be more consistent with using sunblock, even at home. I tend to forget that I am sitting right beside a window while I work from home and I need UV protection!

𝐂𝐑: Improving my eating habits, such as eating more lean proteins and incorporating more fruits and veggies into my diet. I also need to remember to put on sunscreen even if I’m at home! πŸ˜…

𝐄𝐕: Probably drinking more water, the others always nag me on this (lol). My skin gets so dehydrated yet oily and it’s a nightmare on hot days! Oh, and applying sunscreen daily.

𝐒𝐋: To always use sunscreen after putting any actives on my skin, and always include this step in my morning routine.

𝐄𝐝𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: Tsk, guess we are all guilty of forgetting to apply UV protection daily (very important!)

Anything new you’ve tried and liked recently?

𝐂𝐇: Renaza’s UV Protector SPF50+! My pet peeve with sun care products is the texture of it on skin, and this product doesn’t leave a sticky residue on the skin!

𝐂𝐑: Renaza’s Niacinamide Skin Defence Serum! It feels lightweight so i don’t feel like there is too much on my face when I use it before I head out. Works great under my makeup too!

Q: Are there any bad skincare/ lifestyle habits you need to leave behind in 2021?

𝐂𝐇: Not having a morning skincare routine. There are dry spots on my face that would benefit from another round of moisturiser instead of just putting it on before sleeping.

𝐂𝐑: Squeezing the pimples on my face!

𝐄𝐕: I pick at my spots a lot when I’m stressed. I need to stop touching my face and spreading all that bacteria around!

Q: Your holy grail product or ingredient

𝐂𝐇: Niacinamide! This ingredient is found in Renaza’sΒ  Niacinamide Skin Defence Serum and CosRX’s Blackhead power liquid. It’s great for improving the appearance of pores, and subsequently brightening the skin.

𝐂𝐑: Definitely the Renaza Niacinamide Skin Defence Serum. As someone with sensitive and acne-prone skin, niacinamide helps me to fight acne and even brightens my skin. This serum has really helped reduce my maskne!

𝐒𝐋: Niacinamide Skin Defence Serum for sure! It helps soothe and strengthen my skin when I have to wear masks.
𝐄𝐝𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: Guess we have a clear winner here! Have you picked up your own bottle today?

Q: We can't live without our facials! Which one is your favourite?

𝐄𝐕: The Renaza Maskne Facial! I have pretty bad hormonal/ troubled skin, and wearing masks daily doesn’t seem to be helping things! This facial really helps to tackle acne and also soothes any troubled/ stressed out skin. My skin feels so nice after!

𝐒𝐋: OxyGeneo+ Facial with Tripollar: This 3 in 1 facial helps with dehydrated, ageing, skin and tackles pigmentation! It’s perfect for anyone who wants a painless and relaxing facial! It’s my little secret to good skin.Β

Q: A skin tip you learnt in 2021 that changed your life

𝐂𝐇: Not to over-exfoliate! It can cause your skin to be irritated and cause even more problems as a result.

𝐂𝐑: I learnt about inflammageing. I did not realise that certain habits I had- such as skipping sunscreen when I’m feeling lazy- or just feeling stressed and anxious was causing low-grade inflammation in my skin, which resulted in troubled and ageing skin!

𝐄𝐕: That I was applying my moisturiser wrongly. One of the beauticians showed us the right way to do it- by patting it in instead of rubbing- and it literally blew my mind. She also taught us some face massages we could do while applying our moisturiser at night!

𝐒𝐋: We can add AHA/BHAs into our routine for gentler exfoliation (instead of physical scrubs) and brighter-looking skin. Very helpful for days that I feel my skin looks a bit dull.
